Features

  • Voice chat has been enabled again – chat with other players through push-to-talk

  • All playground games, except for Spy Hunt, now can have a game boundary defined for custom game arenas

  • Players can now swap or drop ammo with number keys. We have a default setting for a max of 4 ammo slots which is configurable in game settings

  • We created a new dashboard for when you load into the game! The dashboard will give you access to information before you enter the game: available quests, recommended islands and what your current daily challenges are. You can access this dashboard in game through the Tab Menu

Changes

  • Updated bloom collection SFX

  • Game lobby and notification accept/reject now have separate inputs

  • Added colorblind settings

  • Block bullet now has a limited lifetime

  • Cancelling a sword attack with jetpack will no longer maintain full forward momentum

  • While adjusting placement distance in build mode, collisions with other elements are ignored

  • Players will now see a new penalty menu pop up in game when they receive a violation penalty from moderators

  • Running through blooms on an island you own, or blooms you already collected, no longer play sounds

  • Icons for playground games have been updated

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where clicking "play" in the game menu would open lobby menu with no UI

  • Fixed an issue where the emote wheel would remain active when a player holds an emote

  • Friendly fire no longer blocks self-damage

  • Fixed an issue where duplicated messages would send in chat instead of an island link

  • Players no longer see daggers in hands before the Spy Hunt match starts

  • Fixed a bug where the 'Complete' UI message and slowdown didn't trigger after a Deathmatch

  • Fixed an issue where users were able to bypass chat rate limits

  • CTF will now properly attribute a flag capture to the last person who held a flag

  • Fixed players being wrongfully assigned to another team with wrong colours

  • Text and signs now sort correctly with transparent materials

  • Outline no longer conflicts with death effect in stock death matches

  • Fixed a rare issue where players would respawn with varying levels of visibility

  • Kraken no longer receives death and respawn effects

  • Block bullet and moving platforms will no longer push players through terrain

  • Players will no longer be stuck in campfire vibe state when entering games

  • Fixed a bug that caused players to move faster than moving platforms when jumping off

  • Players no longer are stuck in vibe state when hosting or joining a game

  • Fixed a bug with resetting to the last passed checkpoint during races

  • Fixed an edge case for bloom reward scaling

  • Survivors high up on the map should no longer become infected

  • Mini-map icons shall now all stay the correct size

  • Consistent attribution of KOs in playground games

  • Fixed a rare bug where players spawned with their original avatar instead of a disguise
