ISLAND token's utility is unlocked through staking. By depositing tokens in a smart contract, players are granted access to a host of platform-wide abilities and benefits in accordance with how much they stake.
The amount of ISLAND token a player stakes scales player benefits**.** Some token-related perks unlock at specific staking thresholds, while others scale incrementally with staked token.
*Note - ISLAND token staking is supported on both Ethereum and Base.*
