You can earn ISLAND token through a few mechanisms:
The P2E System: play the game and earn ISLAND
The Bloom Gacha: spin for a chance at rewards
Quests: compete for glory and prizes
Before you do anything, you'll want to make an account on our website: https://www.niftyisland.com/
To get started with the P2E system, head to the Rewards page on the Nifty Island website. The Rewards page shows an overview of your pending rewards through the P2E system, and several controls that allow you to modify your rate and limit within the system.
The P2E system consists of 10-day cycles after which players are able to claim the ISLAND that they earned during that cycle.
You earn ISLAND by earning Nifty Island's primary in-game currency, blooms, through contributing to the Nifty Island ecosystem. Blooms can be earned by completing your daily challenges, playing games, hosting players on your islands, and a few other actions.
The blooms you earn in-game are multiplied by your earning rate and limited by your cycle cap. The earning rate is determined by the amount of ISLAND you have staked. The cycle limit also raises based on how much ISLAND you have staked to an extent, but this falls off eventually, so players at a certain level of staking might consider acquiring a Legendary Palm NFT which has a greater effect on boosting this cap.
At a high level, it's as simple as that: play the game to earn blooms and stake or hold assets to increase your rewards.

When you earn blooms for the P2E system, you earn ISLAND just for acquiring them in the first place. This leaves you with several options for actually spending them. You can spend them on in-game progression unlocks for your island or character, Bloom Rewards (our premiere seasonal skin NFTs), or in the Bloom Gacha. For the purposes of this handbook, we'll look at that last option which allows you to earn ISLAND more directly.
The Bloom Gacha can be found on the Gacha page on the Nifty Island website. This delightful buddy can eat your blooms to give you a shot earning NFTs, ISLAND token, and more.
The stock of the Bloom Gacha is refilled periodically, which means prizes are constantly changing.
Because everyone has the same shot at winning each prize, the Bloom Gacha serves as a good bootstrapping option for players with low initial stakes in the P2E system, if they're lucky!
Quests are in-game competitive or casual events which require completing some criteria for a shot at winning prizes. These quests can be made by Nifty Island or (soon) anyone!
