# ISLAND Token

Nifty Island's native utility token positioned at the intersection of social, gaming, and NFTs.

<figure><img src="/files/J3vyljTFQ27NISv3FfCZ" alt="" width="297"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The ISLAND token ($ISLAND) is the native **utility and governance token** that powers the Nifty Island ecosystem and its creator economy.

Designed as a finite commodity, the ISLAND token allocates limited and exclusive platform resources, enabling users to enhance their gameplay experience, creative limits, and earnings within the Nifty Island ecosystem.&#x20;

Think of it as the scarce commodity that grants its holders premier access to playing, earning, and shaping Nifty Island.&#x20;

By democratizing some control and access to Nifty Island through immutable on-chain property rights, ISLAND helps cement our ecosystem's role as **an open gaming public good** for every community, creator, and player to leverage as they see fit.

At its core, Nifty Island is a user-generated content gaming platform that is designed to be fun and engaging through a vibrant creator economy. The ISLAND token serves a dual purpose: unlocking greater access to play, create, and monetize within this creator economy, and serving as a reward for players and creators who actively participate on the platform. ISLAND tokens are awarded to those who engage with the platform, either by playing or creating content.

ISLAND token is omnichain and built on Layer Zero's OFT standard. It is able to be bridged to all chains supported by the LayerZero protocol. Currently utility and earning for ISLAND token on platform is supported on both ETH and Base.

# The Vision & Purpose Behind ISLAND

Tokens should enhance the relationship between a platform and the community that uses it.

<figure><img src="/files/QI9hUWdMCTKVzHsSsp6B" alt=""><figcaption><p>Uniting players &#x26; communities behind web3's open game world</p></figcaption></figure>

Too many tokens are slapped-on additions to products and feel totally unrelated to the core experience of using a protocol, playing a game, or interacting with a given community.

ISLAND token is an attempt to do things differently. Deep platform utility and the ability to shape Nifty Island, enables ISLAND token to strengthen the relationship between our game world and the community of players that makes it great.

ISLAND token holders will be in a unique position to help Nifty Island grow and prosper. Their recommendations and contributions will disproportionately shape the game world's future. To hold ISLAND token is to be a part of Nifty Island's evolution.

If ISLAND token is successful it should achieve the following:

1. Holders should feel more connected to the game and more aligned with its growth.
2. It should grant players an enhanced ability to shape Nifty Island. Both in terms of the content that players encounter, as well as its future development.
3. The distribution of ISLAND in the form of rewards should spur the creation of more user-generated content and usage.

# Token Utility

Deep platform-wide utility, meets staking, meets web3s leading game world.

<figure><img src="/files/wXx27F2YLI4Kcaw8so2K" alt=""><figcaption><p>Staking more ISLAND means greater utility</p></figcaption></figure>

### Utility through staking, a token designed to be held

ISLAND token's utility is unlocked through staking. By depositing tokens in a smart contract, players are granted access to a host of platform-wide abilities and benefits in accordance with how much they stake.

The amount of ISLAND token a player stakes scales player benefit&#x73;**.** Some token-related perks unlock at specific staking thresholds, while others scale incrementally with staked token.

*Note - ISLAND token staking is supported on both Ethereum and Base.*

## **1. Core Pillars of ISLAND Utility**

Holding and staking ISLAND token grants the player a host of new powers within the Nifty Island ecosystem, aimed at enhancing players' ability to participate in Nifty's creator economy and shape the future of the platform. These core utilities are described at a high level below and details are given on the linked subpages.

### [**Increased Rate of Token Earnings**](/island-token/token-utility/earning)

ISLAND stakers will enjoy increased **Earning Power**, allowing them to earn ISLAND tokens at a faster rate through active play and participation.

### [**Enhanced Island Creation**](/island-token/token-utility/island-creation)

Creators and artists who stake ISLAND tokens can access greater platform resources, allowing for the creation of larger, more immersive islands and more activities to participate in.

### [**Access to Special Prizes**](/island-token/token-utility/special-prizes)

ISLAND stakers will enjoy exclusive access to special events, prizes, and content.

### [**Consumables**](/island-token/token-utility/consumables)

ISLAND stakers will earn consumable items at a rate dependent on how much they stake. These items can be used to boost your content and earnings within the platform.

### [**Governance Participation**](/island-token/token-utility/governance)

Staking ISLAND token grants users the right to participate in governance, enabling them to vote on select future game and platform decisions. Voting power will scale in proportion to how much a player stakes.

## 2. Expanding Utility as Nifty Island Evolves

We see the above as a V1 of ISLAND token's role on the platform. As the depth and breadth of the UGC on the platform expands, as the marketplace and its inventory evolves, and as new substrates of the game's economy and overall experience come online, ISLAND's utility will too expand.

# Earning

Staking ISLAND enables players to increase their earning potential.

By staking ISLAND, players can increase their **Earning Power**, allowing them to earn ISLAND tokens at a faster rate through active play and participation. The more ISLAND you stake, the higher your Blooms-to-ISLAND conversion rate, enabling you to earn ISLAND faster each rewards cycle.

Please note that while staking is supported on Ethereum and Base, earnings are distributed on Base to avoid the friction of high gas fees.

For more details on live ISLAND token earnings after P2A, visit the [Live Token Earnings](broken://pages/7GgqmPtp3lf4CLTyruH6) page.

# Island Creation

Staking ISLAND enables players to build larger, more compelling islands.

Creators and artists who stake ISLAND token can access greater platform resources, allowing for the creation of larger, more immersive islands and more activities to participate in.

The roster of island upgrades is being updated (with P2E rollout) to increase the number of bloom pickups you can place and the number of games you can have on your island. All upgrade options are listed below:

<table><thead><tr><th width="160" align="center">Island Upgrade</th><th>Tier 1</th><th>Tier 2</th><th>Tier 3</th><th>Tier 4</th><th>Tier 5</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center">Bloom Pickups</td><td>10</td><td>20</td><td>30</td><td>40</td><td>50</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Size</td><td><a data-footnote-ref href="#user-content-fn-1">Small</a></td><td><a data-footnote-ref href="#user-content-fn-2">Medium</a></td><td><a data-footnote-ref href="#user-content-fn-3">Large</a></td><td><a data-footnote-ref href="#user-content-fn-4">Huge</a></td><td><a data-footnote-ref href="#user-content-fn-5">Ginormous</a></td></tr><tr><td align="center">Build Weight</td><td>10k</td><td>20k</td><td>30k</td><td>40k</td><td>50k</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Number of Games</td><td>2</td><td>6</td><td>10</td><td>15</td><td>20</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Customization</td><td>Ocean</td><td>Sky</td><td>Weather</td><td>Island Skin</td><td>Soundtrack</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
For upgrades that had their maximums raised (*bloom pickups* and *number of games*), players will have their upgrade tier migrated to the tier that gives them the same limit or higher.

That is, players at tier 5 for bloom pickups could previously place 25 pickups. Those players are now at tier 3 and can place 30 pickups. These upgrades were cheaper before this update, so this migration favor players who already upgraded them in terms of limit and cost.
{% endhint %}

For all upgrades, tiers 3 and greater are locked behind staking a minimum ISLAND threshold. Once unlocked, upgrades can be purchased for a number of blooms. These values are as follows:

<table><thead><tr><th width="160" align="center">Value</th><th>Tier 1</th><th>Tier 2</th><th>Tier 3</th><th>Tier 4</th><th>Tier 5</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center">Staked ISLAND</td><td>-</td><td>-</td><td>300</td><td>1,000</td><td>5,000</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Bloom Cost</td><td>-</td><td>2,000</td><td>4,000</td><td>6,000</td><td>8,000</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
Players who had already unlocked a tier and are now locked out of that tier due to insufficient ISLAND staked will remain grandfathered into that tier.
{% endhint %}

At current, unstaking ISLAND will **not** downgrade your island even if it falls below the threshold required to unlock a tier.

This upgrade system will evolve over time as we add completely new tracks of island customization and also make technical optimizations that allow us to increase values such as build weight.

# Special Prizes

Staking ISLAND is your ticket to exclusive prizes.

## Gated Quests

Nifty Island and its partners will periodically host quests gated by holding some threshold of ISLAND token. These quests are an opportunity for our core community to compete for special prizes and rewards not available to the rest of the player base.

## Exclusive Bloom Rewards

Holding some threshold of ISLAND token will make a player eligible for exclusive Bloom Rewards.

# Consumables

Staking ISLAND grants a periodic ration of enhancing boosts and prize related perks.

Players will earn consumable items depending on how much ISLAND they have staked. The following items will be awarded on a recurring basis to players who have staked at least the minimum staking threshold given for each below.

The lower earning rate shown applies to the minimum staking threshold and interpolates (nonlinearly) to the higher earning rate at a value of 100k ISLAND staked. That is, staking more past the minimum staking threshold will earn consumables faster.

## **Bloom Boosts**

Add a temporary bloom multiplier to your island, enticing players to visit for increased rewards. There are 3 types of bloom boost earned by staking ISLAND, each with their own characteristics, minimum staking threshold, and earning rate. These stack

* **Small Bloom Boost** (1.2x blooms, 60 minutes)

  * **Minimum Stake:** 7.5k ISLAND
  * **Earning Rate:** 1 every 30 days -> 1 every 5 days

* **Medium Bloom Boost** (1.5x blooms, 30 minutes)

  * **Minimum Stake:** 15k ISLAND
  * **Earning Rate:** 1 every 30 days -> 1 every 7 days

* **Large Bloom Boost** (2x blooms, 15 minutes)
  * **Minimum Stake:** 30k ISLAND
  * **Earning Rate:** 1 every 30 days -> 1 every 10 days

## **Bloom Gacha Spins**

A free chance at more items, rare NFTs, and ISLAND token.

* **Minimum Stake:** 150 ISLAND
* **Earning Rate:** 1 every 10 days -> 1 every 12 hours

## **Bloom Reward Passes**

Unlock limited-edition skins for avatars, weapons, or anything else without spending blooms.

* **Minimum Stake:** 1k ISLAND
* **Earning Rate:** 1 every 60 days -> 1 every 15 days

## **Discoverability Boosts** *(coming soon!)*

Temporarily elevate a player's content. They can be assigned to an island to enhance visibility on the map. They can be used to elevate the visibility of a player's quest on the web app and in-game. Finally, they can be utilized to ensure a player's marketplace creations enjoy enhanced visibility on the web app.

# Governance

Guide the future of Nifty Island's evolution by staking ISLAND.

ISLAND token stakers will be granted the ability to vote on proposals. For V1, the core team will periodically update a list of items for holders to vote on.

We consider this initial form of governance to be light governance. Premature decentralization of decision-making can reduce ownership, responsibility, and decision quality. In its initial state, ISLAND governance enables the holder base to weigh in and make their opinions known to the team without causing paralysis.

Initially, governance proposals will fall under the following types:

* **High-Level:** Higher-level questions on what direction the platform should evolve into.
  * *Example: Which of these 20 areas should we focus on next:*
    * *New playground game*
    * *Progression expansion*
    * *Island creator tools*
    * *Vehicles*
    * *...*
* **Low-Level:** Vote to determine what features the core team focuses on building next.
  * *Example: which of these 3 playground games should we build next?*

Future versions of this this governance system may introduce more flexibility including the option for holders to create proposals of their own.

# Allocation & Distribution

An overview of how the total ISLAND token supply is divided among different stakeholders and distributed over time.

The total supply of ISLAND tokens is capped at **1,000,000,000 (one billion).**

What follows is a breakdown of the end state, fully diluted allocation of ISLAND token and a look at how ISLAND token is distributed over time.

<figure><img src="/files/wG7hJJAR42jrjrdlKj6X" alt=""><figcaption><p>The 🔒 indicates stakeholders with no liquid tokens at TGE and long lockups. More details below.</p></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/xfvKLCUuELMrLRc9nBKW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Community Pool (38.6%)

### Play-to-Airdrop (12.6%)

The initial distribution of ISLAND was executed through our Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) campaign and conducted over the course of three waves, the last of which concluded on November 1, 2024. Designed to reward genuine gameplay and engagement, our P2A campaign will distribute ISLAND tokens to a broad range of users who actively participated in and contributed to the Nifty Island ecosystem and creator economy.

**100% of P2A tokens will be liquid at TGE,** including the original 10% P2A allocation, a 2.5% increase announced on November 15, 2024, and a 0.1% Gacha bonus announced on December 3, 2024.

### Rewards Pool (17.5%)

The largest community allocation of ISLAND is designated for the Rewards Pool, which will be distributed to support [live ISLAND token earnings](broken://pages/cvqehQQ3r3E8ecCsjp18) and the long-term growth of a sustainable creator economy in Nifty Island.

### Ecosystem Incentives (8.5%)

The Ecosystem Incentives pool will be used to attract creators, developers, and other third parties to the Nifty Island ecosystem as it expands over time. This will include grants and prizes, rather than in-game automated incentives.

As part of this initiative, we are reserving a 1% allocation for a partnership with Mocaverse, a web3 platform with over 1.8 million registered users. These rewards will be distributed through MocaDrop at TGE. Mocaverse played a key role in driving user acquisition and engagement during our P2A campaign, and this partnership will continue to support user acquisition and build awareness of the ISLAND token as we approach TGE.

## Investors and Advisors (30.2%)

> **🔒 Lockup Terms:**
>
> 71% fully locked for 2 years from TGE, then linearly unlocked over another 2 years.
>
> 29% fully locked for 3 years from TGE, then linearly unlocked over another 3 years.

Investors have the second largest allocation of ISLAND. They have contributed over $28.5 million to fund the development of Nifty Island. Our strategic investors and advisors have been instrumental in helping us build and bring Nifty Island to market. Our investors are exceptionally long-termist and aligned with the best interests of ISLAND and the Nifty Island community. To reflect that, they have agreed to long lock-ups.

Some of our strategic investors and advisors include:

* Distributed Global
* Hashed
* Arrington Capital
* Collab + Currency
* Sfermion

### Team (19.5%)

> **🔒 Lockup Terms:**
>
> 66% fully locked for 2 years from TGE, then linearly unlocked over another 2 years.
>
> 34% fully locked for 1 year from TGE, then linearly unlocked over another 1 year.

The team allocation is designed to align incentives for the core team and key contributors throughout Nifty Island's development phases. This allocation ensures that the team remains motivated to drive strong network expansion, deliver a robust product, and support ongoing development, marketing efforts, and other critical expenditures necessary for the creation, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of Nifty Island. Similarly to investors, a majority of team tokens are on a 2-year lock-up from TGE, ensuring the team is aligned with the long-term interests of ISLAND and the Nifty Island community.

### Project Treasury (9.2%)

The Project Treasury serves as the capital reserve for Nifty Island, managed at the discretion of the Nifty Island team initially. These funds are reserved for initiatives that will promote network expansion, support further development, and enhance the overall ecosystem. The Treasury ensures that Nifty Island has the resources necessary to drive growth, fund strategic projects, and adapt to evolving needs within the web3 gaming space.

### Exchange Liquidity (2.5%)

The Exchange Liquidity allocation is dedicated to providing the necessary liquidity for ISLAND tokens on exchanges. By maintaining healthy liquidity, we aim to create a more stable and efficient market for ISLAND, facilitating smoother transactions and fostering trust among token holders and traders. The Exchange Liquidity allocation was expanded on December 16, 2024, shortly before TGE, to accomodate for deeper liquidity across more exchange venues.

# Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) Campaign

An overview of our P2A campaign

P2A enabled our early users to help us build Nifty Island together and to earn an early stake in ISLAND token between the dates of January 18th and November 1st, 2024.

# Airdrop Mechanics

The fundamentals of Play-to-Airdrop (P2A).

The ISLAND airdrop is designed to reward participants who play the game regularly and hold on-chain assets, with an emphasis on our own Legends NFTs. The more you engage with the Nifty Island ecosystem and the rarer your on-chain assets, the higher your Collector Tier and the more Airdrop Points you can earn, resulting in a greater share of ISLAND tokens.

### Collector Tiers

Your **Collector Tier** is determined by the on-chain holdings across all wallets connected to your Nifty Island account. These tiers correspond to our Legendary Palm tiers, with the addition of a Basic Tier for those who do not hold a Palm or whose holdings fall below the value of any Palm.

The tiers are as follows:

**Basic, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Neon, Ultra**

Each asset’s contribution towards your Collector Tier is indicated by 1-3 green gems on its panel in the Airdrop page. These gems reflect the weight of the asset towards your Collector Tier.

**Factors that influence an asset’s weight (in order of importance):**

1. Legends NFTs, especially Palms, have the greatest influence on your tier.
2. High-value or high-status holdings generally weigh more towards your tier.
3. Some early partners’ projects are weighted slightly more generously due to their contributions.

The exact weightings for any asset other than Legendary Palms are deliberately kept obscure and locked in at unannounced snapshots. This helps prevent gaming of the system. However, Legendary Palms have fixed, transparent weightings and can be secured at any time. It is publicly shared that owning a Palm of a certain tier is enough to immediately bump you into that corresponding Collector Tier.

### Palm Scaling

It is also public knowledge that Palm weights scale inversely with the number of Palms minted (or planned to be minted) for each tier. This means that fewer Palms of higher tiers weigh significantly more towards your Collector Tier. The scaling is as follows:

* 2x Iron = 1x Bronze
* 2x Bronze = 1x Silver
* 2x Silver = 1x Gold
* 5x Gold = 1x Neon
* 5x Neon = 1x Ultra

This clear hierarchy rewards those with rarer, higher-tier Palms by allowing them to leap into higher Collector Tiers.

### Airdrop Points

Airdrop Points are the key metric used to determine how much ISLAND allocation you will receive within your Collector Tier. Players are compared against others within the same tier, and your Airdrop Points directly influence the size of your airdrop.

Airdrop Points are earned through various methods that have evolved slightly with each wave. The current wave’s Airdrop Points earning opportunities can be found [here](https://www.niftyisland.com/airdrop).

# P2A Token Distribution

An update on the token rewards you can expect from P2A.

Now that the P2A earning period is over, we are providing an updated snapshot of expected airdrop earnings ahead of our December TGE. This includes some positive changes we've made to P2A distribution in light of community feedback.

For your reference, the previous announcement that was released as a snapshot of earnings during Wave 3 can be found as a subpage [here](/archive/wave-3-update-9-27-2024). That page goes a bit more into the details of the airdrop distribution mechanics, and this one provides an update.

### Expanding the Pie

Due to the longer duration and depth of our P2A campaign and the unwavering commitment we've seen from our core community, we have decided to increase the rewards of the P2A campaign by **25%**. This change expands the allocation from 10% to **12.5% of the total ISLAND supply**.

This increased supply was distributed such that:

* All Collector Tiers except basic received an increase to their ISLAND per Airdrop Point ratio, scaling more heavily with higher Collector Tiers, to better reward players in higher collector tiers who played on single accounts.
* All waves received an increased token allocation. Earlier waves were increased to reward players who joined the campaign early. Wave 3 was also increased to help counter decreased per-participant earnings since the previous distribution announcement, due to the increased participation of new players.

Notably, *no payout for any wave or Tier was reduced to make this redistribution*. This change is purely additive. Any lower payouts are explained by other factors in the FAQs below.

### Token Distribution Snapshot

The table below outlines a **snapshot of the total Airdrop Points for each Collector Tier across all waves combined**, broken down by percentile rankings (25th, 50th, 75th, and 'Top Player'). Each column shows the combined Airdrop Points earned to date as well as the corresponding ISLAND allocations. As noted, these numbers represent a current snapshot and as Collector Tiers continue to adjust ahead of the final Palm snapshot before TGE, these estimates will change.

<figure><img src="/files/VVAWqjSbZ8TTkOxzpBN4" alt=""><figcaption><p>Snapshot Summary of Waves 1, 2, and 3 Combined</p></figcaption></figure>

*Note: 'Top Player' may not represent the actual #1 player, but rather assumes you’ve maintained the #1 position across all three waves.*

### Distribution Frequently Asked Questions

<details>

<summary>Why have some projected earning rates (ISLAND per Airdrop Point) gone down?</summary>

There are a couple factors at play here:

* Any changes in Collector Tiers until the final Palm snapshot will affect the earning across all waves. This moves players between Tiers, which moves the relative distribution higher or lower for those Tiers.
* Wave 3 was still in progress at the time of the previously shared snapshot. Since then, more players joined and more Airdrop Points were spread across more people with a fixed distribution percentage. This caused a drop in Wave 3 earnings per participant across all Tiers, even with the additional allocation for that wave.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Did lower Collector Tiers get nerfed?</summary>

No Collector Tiers were nerfed; that is, the allocation granted to each Tier remains the same or higher. All ISLAND per Airdrop Point ratios dropped during Wave 3 as a result of more players joining after the last snapshot.

However, *additional* allocation was added to Tiers above Basic, with weighting towards higher Tiers. This means that while the ratio for all Tiers was lowered due to participation after the last snapshot, the higher Tiers were able to push above this decrease for a net gain.

So, while it may appear on the surface that allocation was taken from lower Tiers and added to higher Tiers, these two factors explain why that is not the case.

</details>

# Play-to-Earn (P2E) System

Our system for enabling players to earn ISLAND after TGE, while managing inflation and rewarding loyal community members.

### Doing Play-to-Earn Right

After P2A and the genesis of the ISLAND token, players are able to earn ISLAND live in-game! This means blooms earned will result in a user accumulating ISLAND tokens, claimable every 7 days.

Our goal is to establish a simple and fair system that motivates players to engage with Nifty Island, while keeping the inflation inherent in token rewards predictable and minimal.

Finally, by making earning more convenient and significant for existing holders of Legendary Palms and ISLAND tokens, we can reward loyalty and encourage new participants to hold onto the tokens they earn, thereby joining our community.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please note: the P2E system will change significantly over time. Reflexive token rewards are a great way to bootstrap a community but they are not sustainable and will be replaced as Nifty Island's game economy evolves.
{% endhint %}

### TLDR

At a high level, here's how to earn:

* Increase your earning rate
  * Stake ISLAND and keep it staked
  * Hold Nifty Island Legendary NFTs (optional)
* Play to earn
  * Collect blooms by playing Nifty Island

Do that, and you'll earn ISLAND! So, jump in and play or keep reading for deeper details!

### Meet the ISLAND Rewards Dashboard

After the Token Generation Event (TGE), players will have access to an ISLAND Rewards Dashboard within the Nifty Island web app. From this dashboard, users can stake, view their earning stats, and claim their ISLAND rewards.

<figure><img src="/files/nlb8dBKiBcnPrpnCxM7O" alt=""><figcaption><p>ISLAND Rewards Dashboard<br><em>Note: Numbers shown are for <strong>illustrative purposes</strong> only and do not represent real earning rates.</em></p></figcaption></figure>

### System Overview

A fixed ISLAND reward pool will be distributed on a recurring 7-day cycle. This structure ensures that the amount of ISLAND distributed from the reward pool during each cycle remains controlled, preventing excessive token supply inflation while maintaining a dynamic yet simple reward system.

At the highest level, there are 3 inputs that determine how much ISLAND you will earn from the P2E system in a given cycle:

* How many blooms you earned → Bloom Count
* How much ISLAND you have staked → Base Earning Rate
* How long you have kept ISLAND staked → Earning Rate Boost
* The quantity and tiers of Nifty Island Legendary NFTs you hold → Earning Rate Multiplier

The aggregate result of these factors at the end of the earning period will determine how much ISLAND will be claimable.

That is, per cycle:  ISLAND = **BLOOM\_COUNT** \* **EARNING\_RATE** / 1000[^1]

{% hint style="info" %}
[Here](https://www.niftyisland.com/rewards/calculator) is a calculator which can help you to project your rewards from the P2E system.
{% endhint %}

### Bloom Count & Acquiring Blooms

Blooms represent the work you need to do in order to earn. If you earn 0 blooms in a cycle, you will earn 0 ISLAND, regardless of your holdings.

Blooms can be earned in the following ways:

* Daily Challenges
* Playing Games
* Selling Fish
* Foot Traffic
  * Players visiting your island (5 blooms per unique daily visit, 1k/day limit)
  * Players spending time on your island (0.5 blooms per minute, 4k/day limit)
  * Players collecting bloom pickups on your island (1 bloom per pickup, 250/day limit)
  * Players earning blooms from games on your island (1 bloom per 2 base blooms, 4k/day limit)
  * Players catching fish on your island (1/10 base value of fish, 4k/day limit)
  * Refer players to another island (20% of island owner foot traffic, 1k/day limit)
* Bloom Pickups
* Quests
* Miscellaneous
  * Accepting B33's island recommendations
  * Manual bloom earnings from events & other sources

The Rewards Dashboard displays the amount of blooms you earned in each category during the current cycle.

### Earning Rate & Staking ISLAND

ISLAND can be staked on either ETH or Base across all wallets connected to your Nifty Island account. By staking your ISLAND tokens, you increase your earning rate. A higher earning rate means that every bloom you earn will convert to more ISLAND.&#x20;

Your earning rate will receive a boost based on how long you have staked without unstaking. This is a multiplier on your earning rate that increases linearly to a maximum of 3x over 100 days of staking.

That is:  Current earning rate = **BASE\_EARNING\_RATE** \* 3 \* MIN(**DAYS\_STAKED** / 100, 1)

Here are some sample staking amounts and the resulting earning rates in terms of ISLAND per 1k blooms collected.

<table><thead><tr><th width="197">Staked ISLAND</th><th>Base Earning Rate (Immediate)</th><th data-type="number">Max Earning Rate (After 100 Days)</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>0</td><td>0.1</td><td>0.3</td></tr><tr><td>50</td><td>0.108</td><td>0.324</td></tr><tr><td>100</td><td>0.135</td><td>0.405</td></tr><tr><td>200</td><td>0.162</td><td>0.486</td></tr><tr><td>300</td><td>0.189</td><td>0.567</td></tr><tr><td>400</td><td>0.225</td><td>0.675</td></tr><tr><td>500</td><td>0.27</td><td>0.81</td></tr><tr><td>1000</td><td>0.54</td><td>1.62</td></tr><tr><td>10,000</td><td>2.07</td><td>6.21</td></tr><tr><td>100,000</td><td>8.28</td><td>24.84</td></tr><tr><td>1,000,000</td><td>30.6</td><td>91.8</td></tr><tr><td>10,000,000</td><td>110.25</td><td>330.75</td></tr></tbody></table>

The conversion rate reaches its maximum at 10 million ISLAND staked.

Your earning rate applies at the time blooms are earned. However, if you unstake any token during the cycle, your earning rate will be reduced to the base rate of your new balance. This means that you can stake more at any time to boost your earning rate (and bonus) immediately, but you cannot move staked ISLAND between accounts to boost rewards.

Because you may earn ISLAND at a different rate throughout the cycle, the immediate values shown for blooms, earning rate, and ISLAND in the Rewards Dashboard may appear not to add up if you stake or unstake ISLAND mid-cycle.

### Earning Multipliers & Holding Palms

Palm holders will enjoy a higher multiplier of ISLAND tokens that they can gain for earning blooms in every 14-day cycle. Every Legendary NFT (Palm, Pistol, or Blade) held by your account increases this multiplier by an amount determined by the NFT tier.

| Palm Tier | Multiplier Increase |
| --------- | ------------------- |
| Iron      | 16%                 |
| Bronze    | 30%                 |
| Silver    | 58%                 |
| Gold      | 110%                |
| Neon      | 210%                |
| Ultra     | 420%                |
| Pistol    | 0.4%                |
| Blade     | 4%                  |

So, for example:

* 1x Iron Palm = Earn Rate Multiplied by 1.16x
* 2x Gold Palms = Earn Rate Multiplied by 3.2x
* 1x Neon Palm & 1x Silver Palm = 3.68x

The highest multiplier that any player can reach is 520%.

### Removing NFTs

If you move any legendary NFTs from your wallet, your earn rate multiplier will be instantly reduced to the new multiplier level.

In addition, a penalty to your earn rate boost will be applied proportional to the multiplier value of the NFT. The amount of this penalty is proportional to the removed NFT's multiplier vs. the max multiplier.

So, moving a pistol barely slashes you at all, but moving a gold palm slashes you a lot.

If you remove an NFT and your multiplier is still the max, you don't get slashed.

### Soft Bloom Caps

After reaching 35,000 blooms earned in a cycle, your earn rate will be reduced. You will continue to earn ISLAND for every bloom, but at 33% of your total earn rate. When the next cycle starts, you will return to your full earn rate.

At 45,000 blooms earned in a cycle, your earn rate will be adjusted to 25% of your total rate.

At 55,000 blooms earned in a cycle, your earn rate will be adjusted to 15% of your total rate.

At 70,000 blooms earned in a cycle, your earn rate will be adjusted to 10% of your total rate.

### Claiming ISLAND

ISLAND rewards from the P2E system are claimable on Base. Each cycle's ISLAND rewards are added to your claimable balance at the end of the cycle.&#x20;

### Our Long-Term Vision for P2E

Given ISLAND token’s finite supply, it is not sustainable to distribute it to players indefinitely. That said, we recognize that a key advantage of web3 gaming is the ability to offer rewarding and compelling prizes.

Over time, we will gradually taper off ISLAND token rewards, replacing their appeal with more inherently fun gameplay and compelling prize systems, and balancing emissions with new sources of ISLAND token demand.

[^1]: The divisor of 1000 is included because the earning rate is typically defined in terms of ISLAND per 1000 blooms to allow for more presentable values.

# Pearls

Our premium platform currency, designed to broaden access to Nifty's creator economy

## ⚪ Pearls: Nifty Island’s Premium Currency

<figure><img src="/files/Ox3ChrwubiBAy9GGg8Wo" alt="" width="256"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What Are Pearls?

Pearls are our premium in-game, off-chain credit, designed to make participating in Nifty Island's creator economy far more accessible and to turbocharge demand for ISLAND token.

Unlike crypto tokens that may be unfamiliar or intimidating to new users, Pearls are simple to understand, easy to acquire, and powerful in what they unlock. Pearls also serve as a method for off-chain players to buy ISLAND token, without having to interact directly with web3 rails.

***

### How do You Collect Pearls?

Pearls can be **purchased with traditional payment methods** (credit/debit card, app stores, etc.), creating a seamless onramp for gamers who are new to web3.

Web3 natives can purchase Pearls with ISLAND token at a discounted rate. Have some ISLAND staked? Enjoy an even higher discount on Pearls, exclusive to ISLAND holders.

***

### Why Pearls?

At Nifty Island, our philosophy is that **crypto should enhance gaming, not complicate it**. Pearls exist to:

* **Drive new net inflows into ISLAND token**
* **Increase the spend and staking** of ISLAND token
* **Lower the barrier to entry** for non-crypto-native players
* **Create a familiar spending experience** akin to other online games
* **Enable optional, premium enhancements** without gating core gameplay
* **Comply with game distribution platform restrictions** regarding web3 services
* **Support the ongoing development** of the game with an additional source of revenue

By using Pearls, players can engage with the best of what Nifty Island has to offer without needing a wallet, tokens, or prior crypto experience.

While players will still need to **play and engage** to earn most of what Nifty Island has to offer, Pearls will unlock new options for experiencing the game. For example, you can't buy Blooms with Pearls.

***

### How Pearls Power the Broader Ecosystem

Pearls are more than just a platform credit, they’re a bridge to our web3 vision. Here’s how:

#### 🔁 Automatic ISLAND Purchases: Supporting the ISLAND Token

A **portion of Pearl sale volume is used to buy ISLAND** on a recurring basis. This mechanism:

* Supports long-term value for token holders
* Creates a **deflationary pressure** on ISLAND
* Ties premium spending to the **health of the Nifty Island economy**

The rate of ISLAND purchases will kick off at 25% of Pearl purchase value from traditional payment methods. This rate is subject to change as the Pearl economy develops.

***

### What Can You Do with Pearls?

Pearls give you access to:

* :sparkles: **Island boosts, enhance rewards and attract players**
* :island: **Island upgrades, including fully upgraded islands**
* :inbox\_tray: **More inventory space, expanding what you can hold**
* :fishing\_pole\_and\_fish: **Exclusive fish baits, catch rare and valuable fish species**

And more is coming soon, allowing you to:

* 💎 **Buy exclusive skins, cosmetics, and island assets**
* 🚀 **Instant special ability unlocks, like the Jetpack**
* :muscle: **Accelerate progress and customize your identity**
* 🧰 **Unlock advanced creation tools and upgrades**

Pearls will also function as a **direct way to support creators**, rewarding those who make high quality user-generated content.

***

### TL;DR

* **Pearls** = easy-to-use premium platform credit
* Designed for **mainstream accessibility**
* Buy Pearls → fuels **ISLAND token** through recurring purchases
* Aligned with our mission: **to be a bridge between web2 and web3**

# Pearls in the Marketplace

<figure><img src="/files/ztX0Zwta1hUKepj1taxN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Using Pearls in the Marketplace

With the latest update to the Nifty Island marketplace, you can now buy items using Pearls, without needing a crypto wallet or any blockchain knowledge. This upgrade makes it easier than ever for new players to participate in the creator economy of Nifty Island.

### Why Pearls?

Pearls make purchasing simple. No crypto, no wallet, no friction. More ease of use means more players interested in assets they’d normally never be exposed to.

This system was built to welcome players who are new to web3 or even completely unaware of it. If you’re just here to have fun, play, and collect, you don’t need to worry about blockchain. But if you ever want to go deeper, the door to true ownership is still open. Purchases are still backed by NFTs on the blockchain and can be transferred between wallets any time. Secondary purchases are still available through crypto.

This change also benefits ISLAND token. A significant percentage of all Pearl sales are used to buyback ISLAND. More marketplace driven Pearl sales means more demand for ISLAND.

***

### Pearl Listings vs. Crypto Listings

<figure><img src="/files/UtmZk8IVWg27evUPf3Yt" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Marketplace listings now fall into two categories:

Purchased with Pearls

* Primary Sales: These include first-party Nifty Island items (like Palms and Pistols), quest rewards, and new user-created assets.
* Items are listed in Pearls by default.
* They’re accessible to any player, no crypto connection required.

#### Purchased with Crypto

* Secondary Sales: These are already-minted NFTs being sold by players.
* These remain listed in other currencies, such as ETH or ISLAND, and require a connected crypto wallet.

If you’re a creator, this update lets your work reach more players, especially those new to crypto. More eyes means more sales.

***

### Earning from Sales

<figure><img src="/files/OuMPnsGxQ3MzFr6bOtzE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you sell an item through a primary sale (i.e., the first time it’s bought from you using Pearls), you’ll receive Pearls in a special balance called your Pearl Rewards.

The Pearls you earn from selling items are eligible to be converted to ISLAND or spent in-game.

**Pearl Balances**

You now have two separate balances:

* Spendable Pearls: These can be used immediately to purchase items and boosts in-game.
* Pearl Rewards: These are Pearls you’ve earned from sales. They become available for cash out into ISLAND, or transfer into your Spendable Pearls balance, after a vesting period.

Your completed and pending sales can be seen in Your Pearl Transactions.

<figure><img src="/files/sjljZBYTt0Cgik64uPeV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### Converting Pearls to ISLAND

Creators who earn Pearls can redeem them for ISLAND.

* The conversion rate is based on the valuation Pearls against the current market value of ISLAND
* Only Pearls from your Pearl Rewards can be converted
* There is a minimum threshold of 1000 Pearls you must reach before redeeming
* A 50% fee is applied to account for marketplace discounts and to support the game
* Marketplace discounts include:
  * Purchasing Pearls directly with ISLAND
  * Having a staked ISLAND balance
  * Buying larger bundles for a bulk discount
  * Intermittent sales on Pearl bundles

This gives creators a pathway to turn in-game sales to non-crypto natives into real value.

<div><figure><img src="/files/2CAVjRh9UVQaVPb6XSsj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/4alKqBxpM9xoyLfACpRg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

***

### Creator Leaderboard

<figure><img src="/files/EhrJcEzsPXqi3GCvd5Eb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To celebrate top creators, Nifty Island will run a Pearl Sales Leaderboard. If your creations are among the most-purchased in Pearls during a given period, you’ll earn bonus ISLAND.

Each period, a reward pool of ISLAND is distributed to the top sellers based on the total Pearls spent on their creations. Reward schedules will be announced ahead of time.

***

### What About Minting?

Even if you buy something with Pearls, it’s still an NFT under the hood.

* Asset are minted on the blockchain the moment they’re purchased.
* A wallet is automatically created for new users during account setup (thanks Privy).
* You can change your primary wallet at any time in your settings.

That means there’s a clear upgrade path from playing with no blockchain knowledge to becoming a full web3 user with real ownership of your assets.

***

### The Big Picture

This Pearl-based marketplace is designed to:

* Reduce friction for new users
* Increase sales volume for creators
* Expand the Nifty Island economy to an entirely new class of player on Steam and other web2 platforms.

It’s a win-win. Players get convenience. Creators get a larger audience.

Keep creating and building. Nifty Island's creator economy is getting ready to grow.

# Legends NFTs

Within the vast realms of the digital universe, certain treasures are reserved for a select group of pioneers: the Legendary Items of Nifty Island.

These Legends NFTs are not just rare artifacts; they are the keys to unlocking exclusive perks, unparalleled experiences, and the esteemed title of **Nifty Island Legend.**

<figure><img src="/files/6KVY4nV9maOUHsuGccAt" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Legendary Palms: Gold Palm</p></figcaption></figure>

Holders of these Legendary Items are revered as the creators and guardians of Nifty Island itself. Some of these coveted relics were gifted to founding members of our community, while others were earned through formidable challenges. Over time, these items have changed hands, passed from those who earned them to new bearers, each one joining the ranks of the Nifty Island Legends.

Among these Legendary Items are the **Legendary Palms**, **Ultra Blades**, and **Legendary Pistols**. Each item represents our commitment to pushing the boundaries of NFTs, making them not just collectibles but fully game-ready assets. These Legends NFTs are built for interoperability, designed for use not only in Nifty Island but in other game worlds, driving forward the evolution of NFTs as a medium.

# Legendary Palms

Nifty Island's most exclusive NFTs, granting holders unparalleled status, access to rare content, and evolving rewards.

<figure><img src="/files/dF21PBKIuRa0K907EII7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### The Premier Community-Driven NFT Asset Created at Nifty Island's Inception

First minted at the genesis of Nifty Island, Legendary Palms are treasured artifacts held by those who have helped push Nifty Island forward—our community of Legends.

Spanning six distinct tiers—from the **Iron Palms** to the elusive and unmatched **Ultra Palms**—these relics represent the pinnacle of achievement within the Nifty Island ecosystem. Their limited supply ensures that they remain exclusive and coveted. They have never been sold, only earned through active participation in Nifty Island.

Historically, owning a Legendary Palm has granted access to powers and perks that extend across Nifty Island. Palm Holders have access to Palm Spryte avatars corresponding to their tiers and unique skins for their B33 drones. During our Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) period, the Legendary Palms played a pivotal role as the only asset capable of instantly elevating a player’s P2A Collector Tier. Palm Holders have also been granted additional Legends NFT drops, including **Legendary Pistols** and **Ultra Blades**. Additionally, holders have participated in PalmDAO, an exclusive collective of creators and collectors committed to transforming the finest NFTs into game-ready assets.

### Legendary Palm Utility Post-Airdrop

Going forward, **Palms** will continue to be the core NFT asset that defines Nifty Island's inner circle—its most active and veteran contributors. In addition, we are adding more functionality to Palms, enhancing the holder experience within Nifty Island and empowering holders to shape the game world. The following is an initial outline of this vision, with more utility to be layered onto the Palm Holder experience over time.

Legendary Palms will serve the following core purposes:

1. Social Proof & Status Symbol
2. ISLAND Earning Power Boost
3. Curation Authority

#### **Social Proof & Status Symbol**&#x20;

While we have plans to add much more to provide cosmetic and status benefits to holders in-game, the following are two simple cosmetic perks you can expect around TGE.

1. **Legendary Island Badge**: The highest tier of Legendary Palm held by a player will be displayed as an exclusive icon on their island within the in-game map, as well as on their profile page on the web app. This immediately signals your Legend status to others in the Nifty Island universe.
2. **PFP Border Upgrade**: Your highest-tier Legendary Palm will also be reflected as an exclusive border around your PFP (profile picture) in-game and on the web app. This unique visual marker distinguishes Palm Holders from other players, showcasing your prestige.

#### **ISLAND Earning Power Boost**

As detailed on the [Live ISLAND Earnings page](broken://pages/7GgqmPtp3lf4CLTyruH6), holding Palms contributes to a player's Palm Points total. The more Palm Points a player has, the higher their **max possible ISLAND earning cap** is during each Rewards Cycle.

#### **Curation Authority**

As our longest-standing and most passionate players, we want to grant Palm Holders the ability to showcase the content they love. This will start with the ability to vote for islands to be granted featured status on the map in-game (the map is undergoing a rework which will make this power more compelling). Over time, it will expand to the ability to promote Quests and Marketplace content to be featured as well.

#### **Other Pieces of Future Utility & Exclusive Access**

1. **Priority Access to Future Mints**: Palm Holders will receive priority access to any future NFT drops and new mints within Nifty Island. This could include new Legendary Items, special avatars, and game-ready assets before they are made available to the broader community.
2. **Exclusive In-Game Events**: Palm Holders will be invited to participate in exclusive in-game events and tournaments that offer unique rewards and limited-time content. These events will allow holders to showcase their prowess, compete with other top-tier players, and earn prestigious in-game items that are unavailable through other means.
3. **VIP Community Access**: As a Palm Holder, you'll be granted access to VIP channels and exclusive events with the Nifty Island team and other top creators. This includes private forums, AMA sessions, and opportunities to influence future gameplay and development decisions. Palm Holders will have a voice in shaping the future of the Nifty Island ecosystem.
4. **Special Lore & Content**: Just as Palm Holders were surprised by the addition of their playable avatars, Palm Sprytes, additional lore and content may be added to the Palm metadata over time.

### Evolving Utility for Palm Holders

As Nifty Island’s ecosystem continues to expand, Palm Holders will remain at the forefront of new discoveries, uncovering new treasures and embarking on exclusive adventures. Future gameplay updates will continue to enhance the prestige, access, and rewards for those who hold these coveted relics. Owning a Legendary Palm means becoming a Nifty Island Legend, both today and into the future.

***

To obtain a Legendary Palm, you can compete to earn one in an upcoming [**Legendary Palm Quest**](https://www.niftyisland.com/quests), or purchase it on [**OpenSea**](https://opensea.io/collection/nifty-island-legendary-palms).

# How to Earn

Your handbook for earning in Nifty Island!

<figure><img src="/files/ULSdKbMo8r7MStcgzz4R" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Currently, the main reward output of Nifty Island is our own ISLAND token. Detailed information on ISLAND token can be found [here](/).

You can earn ISLAND token through a few mechanisms:

* **The P2E System:** play the game and earn ISLAND
* **The Bloom Gacha:** spin for a chance at rewards
* **Quests:** compete for glory and prizes

Before you do anything, you'll want to make an account on our website: <https://www.niftyisland.com/>

## P2E System

To get started with the P2E system, head to the Rewards page on the Nifty Island website. The Rewards page shows an overview of your pending rewards through the P2E system, and several controls that allow you to modify your rate and limit within the system.

<figure><img src="/files/nlb8dBKiBcnPrpnCxM7O" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>Note: Numbers shown are for <strong>illustrative purposes</strong> only and do not represent real earning rates.</em></p></figcaption></figure>

The P2E system consists of 14-day cycles after which players are able to claim the ISLAND that they earned during that cycle.

You earn ISLAND by earning Nifty Island's primary in-game currency, blooms, through contributing to the Nifty Island ecosystem. Blooms can be earned by completing your daily challenges, playing games, hosting players on your islands, and a few other actions.

The blooms you earn in-game are multiplied by your earning rate and Legendary NFTs. The base earning rate is determined by the amount of ISLAND you have staked and rises over time as you maintain your stake. Staking for longer can achieve up to a 300% earn rate bonus over your base earn rate. The earn rate is also multiplied by holding any [Legendary Palm NFT](https://opensea.io/collection/nifty-island-legendary-palms) which can further multiply your rate by up to 520%!

At a high level, it's as simple as that: play the game to earn blooms and stake or hold assets to increase your rewards.

## Bloom Gacha

When you earn blooms for the P2E system, you earn ISLAND just for acquiring them in the first place. This leaves you with several options for actually *spending* them. You can spend them on in-game progression unlocks for your island or character, Bloom Rewards (our premiere seasonal skin NFTs), or in the Bloom Gacha. For the purposes of this handbook, we'll look at that last option which allows you to earn ISLAND more directly.

The Bloom Gacha can be found on the [Gacha page](https://www.niftyisland.com/gacha) on the Nifty Island website. This delightful buddy can eat your blooms to give you a shot earning NFTs, ISLAND token, and more.

<figure><img src="/files/jmKgb0hczEvQ3TPE5T9s" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The stock of the Bloom Gacha is refilled periodically, which means prizes are constantly changing.

Because everyone has the same shot at winning each prize, the Bloom Gacha serves as a good bootstrapping option for players with low initial stakes in the P2E system, if they're lucky!

## Quests

Quests are in-game competitive or casual events which require completing some criteria for a shot at winning prizes. These quests can be made by Nifty Island or (soon) anyone!

<figure><img src="/files/LDbRLcQdGMb9xVERpLC7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

All quests are different, but you can see details about upcoming quests and their prizes on the [Quests page](https://www.niftyisland.com/quests) of the Nifty Island website.

## That's it!

You're ready to earn ISLAND! There are a lot of little details you'll find about each mechanism here, but the best way to learn is to *do*. So do.

# Nifty Island Dev Roadmap

The path to victory, short- and long-term.

<figure><img src="/files/urUlvjBcPUAGKQDy2mzf" alt=""><figcaption><p>Gazing Into the Future of Nifty Island</p></figcaption></figure>

## The Path to Making Nifty Island the Next Great Game World.

At Nifty Island, our goal is nothing short of creating a major game world that challenges the incumbents, harnessing the power of **fun, accessible UGC**, **prizes**, and **deep community integrations**.

Since our Open Beta launch earlier this year, we’ve shipped over 15 official patches through a process of community-driven development. Through patch feedback, AMAs, and Discord discussions, we actively engage with our core community to build trust and shape Nifty Island based on both user requests and our long-term vision.

Our hope is that after many more patches, Nifty Island will become something totally unique and unstoppable. One day you'll arrive on Nifty Island to find an endless variety of gameplay across countless, delightful user-generated islands, where you can compete for valuable, unique prizes not found anywhere else. In this end state, Nifty Island will be a truly unique, compelling game world, rather than just another sandbox.

**If you're part of our community, you're part of realizing Nifty Island's future. What follows is a sneak peek of how we get there together.**

While this roadmap provides an overview of where we’re headed, it’s important to note that the journey may change as we iterate and gather new information. Short-term roadmap items are more defined and concrete, while longer-term items are more flexible and open-ended.

*Note: This roadmap focuses on the game platform and is separate from updates regarding ISLAND token utility or Legends NFTs.*

<figure><img src="/files/Jqh5MEXpUVlEp2TAoezS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Short-Term Roadmap

The short-term roadmap generally covers development over the next 3-6 months.

Our current efforts are organized into **6 active development tracks**, with each track focused on enhancing a specific aspect of Nifty Island. The overarching goal is to make Nifty Island more fun, engaging, and prize fueled, while reducing the platform’s dependency on token-driven incentives over time.&#x20;

### **1. UGC/Sandbox -** *Pioneering our own form of highly accessible and fun UGC*

**General Logical Hooks** - *NFTs unlock doors! Buttons open doors!*

We’re enabling players to create more interactive islands through input-output events. Whether it’s opening doors, triggering animations, or crafting puzzles, this system will allow for a wide range of interactive elements, giving creators the tools to bring their islands to life. The possibilities for user-generated content are endless.

**Animation UGC Support** - *Well, we’ll need doors to open, won’t we?*

This feature allows players to attach animations to models submitted through the Forge. Creators can make doors that open when a lever is pulled, sculptures that move, or traps that activate when a button is pressed. Imagine adding custom animations to your creations, turning static elements into dynamic gameplay features.

### **2. Rewards -&#x20;*****Making Nifty Island the most compelling prize-based game world***

**Live ISLAND Token Earnings** - *It’s my money, and I want it now!*

After the airdrop, players will be able to earn ISLAND tokens in periodic cycles, allowing for regular earnings and cash-outs. This system is designed to alleviate the pressure to grind constantly and offers flexibility—taking time off only forfeits earnings for that period, not your overall progression.

**UGC Quests** - *Step right up and win fabulous prizes!*

Players will be able to host their own quests, giving them the ability to create custom gameplay experiences with rewards. Quests will offer another way for creators to engage players and incentivize participation through prizes.

### **3. Progression & World -&#x20;*****Building a stronger sense of purpose to playing Nifty Island***

More info TBA.

We want the Nifty Island world to feel alive, with countless tasks and experiences available across user islands. Our vision is to move beyond game-fueled objectives to a more robust, living ecosystem. While details are still being defined, we’ll be sharing more information on this system in the coming months.

### **4. Playground Games -&#x20;*****Making gameplay more fun, diverse, and interesting***

**Opening up Playground Game Options** - *I want to make a game where…*

This will give creators more freedom by introducing a system of gameplay plugins. These plugins allow you to customize your games with various mechanics, such as combat, gravity, and player abilities. This opens up a world of possibilities for creating unique games that evolve with the player’s imagination.

**Custom Playground Game Logic** - *Let’s get crazy!*

We’re working on a system that lets creators define custom game logic. This means you can create your own win conditions, apply special abilities to teams, and modify in-game behavior dynamically. The goal is to allow for infinitely diverse gameplay experiences.

**New Playground Game** - *Another one.*

While we’re focusing on expanding the creativity of players, we’ll also be launching another pre-made playground game mode in the near future based on community feedback.

**Spectate Mode** - *Oh my God! Okay, it’s happening. Everybody stay calm!*

Spectate Mode is coming! This highly requested feature will allow players to watch competitive matches, stream events, and host tournaments more easily. We've taken note of the excitement around playing Nifty more competitively and are taking steps to make that experience better.

### **5. Web App Improvements -&#x20;*****Making discovering great content and connecting with other players easier***

**Web App Chat** - *Hello there.*

We’re adding chat functionality to the web app, allowing players to connect more easily, organize matches, and facilitate trades. This feature will also make it easier to keep in touch with your fellow islanders when they’re offline.

**Marketplace Discoverability** - *Where are the good assets at?*

The marketplace will be reworked to improve discoverability. Assets will be categorized by artist and other metrics, making it easier for players to find the best content and follow their favorite creators.

### **6. Optimizations, Bug Fixes, QoL Improvements (the fun stuff)**

The team will continue to work on optimizations, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes to make the game more performant and accessible. While we aren’t committing to specifics, we've got our eyes on reducing loading times.

***

<figure><img src="/files/61sdDDEICTbopneMsc5u" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Longer-Term Goals

The longer-term roadmap outlines the bigger projects we plan to work on over the coming months and years. These initiatives are ambitious, open-ended (subject to change and iteration with the community), and represent our vision for what Nifty Island can become.

### **1. UGC/Sandbox -** Pioneering our own form of highly accessible and fun UGC

**Fully Opening Up Playground Games to UGC**

We envision a future where players can create infinite games across infinite islands, designing their own mechanics and gameplay experiences. The goal is to further enable third parties to continue pushing the boundaries of custom playground games. This will turn Nifty Island into a fully-fledged UGC-driven world from its current state as a sandbox towards a place where players can consistently stumble upon unique experiences. Whether you're designing a single-player adventure, competitive shooters, or something entirely new, we want Nifty Island to be the platform to bring your dream game ideas to life.

**New Systems for Island Creation**

Looking forward, we're working on adding entirely new systems to expand what’s possible on user islands. These could include systems such as vehicles, destructible environments, configurable NPCs, or entirely new gameplay mechanics that allow for deeper and more immersive gaming experiences. &#x20;

### **2. Making Nifty Island the most compelling prize-based game world**

**Social Gaming Experiences**

We see a future where Nifty Island becomes the go-to destination in web3 for prize-based gaming. On this path, we want to bring an array of social gaming experiences to Nifty Island, which could include poker, roulette, and other risk-to-earn games. We envision a future where players can come not just to play, but to compete in high-stakes games where strategy and skill intersect, making prize-based gaming more thrilling.

**Third-Party Token Rewards**

We’re exploring ways to introduce larger third-party token rewards, enabling other protocols and projects to integrate with Nifty Island and incentivize users to bring activity to their chains.

### **3. Broadening access to reach many more users**

**Epic Games Store Launch**

We aim to launch Nifty Island on the Epic Games Store in the future, once we have improved the platform, expanding our reach to millions of potential new players.

**Nifty Island for Mobile**

We will eventually bring Nifty Island to market on all mobile platforms, unlocking access to millions of new web3 users who cannot download our game client today.&#x20;

**Enhanced Virality**

We’ll be introducing new systems, such as in-game content creation tools, to make Nifty Island more viral and easier to share with friends. These tools will encourage players to create and share their experiences in Nifty Island, further driving organic growth and social engagement.

***

## **Building the Future Together.**

Our roadmap provides a glimpse of the journey ahead, but the future of Nifty Island will be shaped by our community through constant iteration, player collaboration, and our collective creativity. Whether you’re here to build, compete, or explore, you are an integral part of our mission. As always, thank you for playing.

# MMEG: The Future Nifty Island Economy

The Nifty Island Creator Economy will revolve around player-driven markets

[Web3 gamin](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]g is in need of both a new commercial model and a new mode of play for engaging its users. The status quo is untenable. Play 2 Earn can function well as a community bootstrap but endless token emissions are unsustainable. More conservative attempts to hide on-chain assets, like NFTs, behind obfuscated web2 marketplaces have failed to unlock new commercial possibilities for games or compelling new experiences for players.

* Players want a compelling rewards driven core loop.
* Creators want better incentives to create and coordinate with others.
* Traders want a way to engage with Nifty Island asynchronously by deploying capital.

<figure><img src="/files/QYbvEiBksgJ6UL4OXhQy" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Welcome to MMEG

Market-Driven Multiplayer Economy Game (MMEG) is Nifty Island's future economy system which will replace the P2E system rolling out with TGE.

MMEG is being built to enable a commercial breakthrough for web3 games. The most successful crypto apps create new markets that offer a compelling new trading experience. Games will be no different.&#x20;

The goal of MMEG is to create a powerful feedback loop between players, creators, and traders.

\[Diagram players, creators, and traders]

Players engage in a highly purposeful, rewards-driven loop centered non both resource gathering and playground games. Creators cater to those players by creating the most engaging content possible. MetaCorps enable players to team up, issue their own tokens, and capture value together.

Where scarce land game world models created stagnation by encouraging speculators to squat on virtual land, hindering actual creators from building engaging content, MMEG and its MetaTokens enable both a compelling trading experience for those looking to speculate on and patronize Nifty Island, while motivating creators through greater opportunities to capture value.

The entirety of MMEG revolves around ISLAND token, which is its base currency, which all MetaTokens are traded with.

[^1]:

# MMEG for Players

Gathering resources, crafting, selling, and earning

Today Nifty Island is a pure sandbox experience. Under MMEG, it will become far more purposeful with players earning blooms, gathering various resources, collecting rare items, and eventually crafting to produce rewards.

Players will be able to earn by engaging in island activities through a two-part system composed of resource collection and participation in playground games.

Players will have the option to participate in either playground games or resource collection to earn, or both in order to maximize their rewards. This allows players to choose from a range of casual solo gameplay to intense PvP competition, or anything in between.

### **The Resource Economy**

A new landscape of strategic competition is coming. Players will engage in contests to outsmart each other — fishing, farming, mining, and crafting their way to reign supreme over a living economic battleground.&#x20;

Islands across the map will flow with resources, and players will vie to claim them. To stay ahead, you’ll need to strategically deploy your tools and boosts, optimizing production at every turn. But raw output isn’t enough — success demands sharp instincts and adaptability. As the market shifts and values fluctuate, savvy players will seize opportunities, cornering the market on the most sought-after goods. The key to victory lies not only in maximizing your haul but also in perfectly timing your trades and knowing exactly when to buy, sell, and produce.

<figure><img src="/files/DhtamPn0UicB932oTn65" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The resource wars will kick off with fishing.

#### **Fishing Gameplay**

Cast your line and test your skills in engaging fishing mini-games. Spot fish in the water, hook your catch, and reel it in with precision. The better your performance, the higher the quality of your catch, with unique traits determining its value and rarity.

<figure><img src="/files/bS7NamHaSdIEplwSS0k4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **The Market**

Your catch isn’t just for show; it’s your ticket to riches. Sell fish at campfire markets for blooms, where prices fluctuate based on fish traits and recent market activity. Master the art of timing your sales to capitalize on market highs and maximize your rewards.

Coming to every campfire near you, the Merchant Spryte is a new NPC who serves as your gateway to earning rewards in Nifty Island. The Merchant is willing to buy your blooms, resources, and crafted goods at a changing rate for rewards.&#x20;

#### **Power-Ups**

Supercharge your fishing with special baits and lures that increase your speed, effectiveness, and luck, giving you a better shot at landing rare and valuable species.

#### **Fishing Competitions**

Join ever-changing fishing competitions where players race to collect the most valuable catches. Adapt to shifting rules and targets to outpace your rivals on the leaderboard and claim exclusive prizes.

<figure><img src="/files/4dlLbZArqgDsrjMFzp0w" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Discover and Explore**

The best fishing spots are out there, if you know where to look! Islands with active fishing boosts are marked on the map, guiding you to the most lucrative locations. Explore, strategize, and find the perfect spot to make your fortune.

#### **And More...**

Fishing is just the tip of the iceberg for resource competition. More ways to farm, collect, craft, and strategize will follow.

### Playground Games

Playground games will remain central under MMEG but the focus will increasingly shift toward surfacing and participating in the highest quality content.

<figure><img src="/files/q7UMbApGEeYXAIQIA2Zc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

All playground games will continue to be a path to rewards. New game formats, including casual and PvE experiences, will continue to be added to the menu. More flexibility and options in game modes will add more variety to these activities.

**Featured Games:** Some playground games will be hand-picked by the Nifty Island team and the community to feature the most direct path to the largest rewards. This selection of games will represent the highest quality and most novel experiences that islands have to offer, constantly rotating to showcase the best new content.

## **MetaCorps**

For players, MetaCorps will enable players to align themselves with their favorite groups of creators by purchasing their MetaTokens, resulting in buffs to their ability to play, gather, and earn on all the islands that belong to that MetaCorp.

More information on MetaCorps can be found [here](/mmeg-the-future-nifty-island-economy/metacorps-building-influence-and-value-together).

*As the bedrock of this evolving world, your actions will shape the economy, the competition, and the future of Nifty Island.*

# MMEG for Creators

By designing captivating spaces and optimizing gameplay mechanics, creators attract players, drive engagement, and compete for dominance in rotating resource competitions.

Creators are the strategic masterminds behind Nifty Island’s evolving gameplay. Soon island owners will be able to choose to specialize in crafting fun playground games or optimizing resource collection to bring players to their islands. Or curate for both across all their islands to reap the benefits through multiple systems simultaneously.

### **The Creator Economy**

While creating compelling playground experiences will remain a staple of island creation, Island builders will now be able to cater to player resource gathering as well. Creators will thrive by providing in-demand resources to attract players and earning rewards.

<figure><img src="/files/01mRsGz7PzpBdrB72nBL" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Here’s how creators can thrive:

#### **Unlock and Customize**

The new resource gameplay feature will kick off with fishing. Unlock fishing for your island from the campfire, adding a new option to attract players. Once unlocked, fish are introduced to the island for players to catch and compete over.

#### **Strategic Boosts**

Enhance your island’s appeal by baiting rare fish or activating boosts that increase production rates and make fishing more lucrative for players. These boosts are visible on the map, drawing in crowds eager for bigger catches.

#### **Empower Players**

Deploy power-ups and design spaces that maximize player enjoyment. Players who feel empowered will return to your island, ensuring consistent activity and rewards. By tailoring islands to specific resource loops or gameplay styles, creators foster a constantly evolving ecosystem where players return for new challenges and opportunities.&#x20;

#### **Resource Competitions**

Creators compete to produce the most in-demand resources on their islands. Winning competitions requires balancing design, strategy, and adaptability as rules evolve over time.

#### **Earn Rewards**

Creators share in the success of players on their islands, earning $ISLAND when fish are caught and sold, time spent playing games, as well as player purchases on the island. This incentivizes creators to continually innovate and maintain player interest.

<figure><img src="/files/MBwcYqKnrmsOZGGBYn9b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

## **MetaCorps**

For creators that only want to create and do not have the time or interest to consistently ensure activity on their islands, MetaCorps are part of the solution.

MetaCorps are groups of contributors working collaboratively to achieve success in the broader Nifty Island ecosystem. This allows creators to partner with other players so they can focus on creating, while tasks such as hosting and promoting can be left to others who share in the success of the MetaCorp.

More information on MetaCorps can be found [here](/mmeg-the-future-nifty-island-economy/metacorps-building-influence-and-value-together).

*Creators are the architects of Nifty Island’s gameplay experience, blending creativity with strategy to build compelling spaces. With each update, creators will have new opportunities to experiment and lead the charge in shaping a dynamic and ever-changing world.*\ <br>

# MetaCorps: Building Influence & Value Together

Gather your friends and fellow creators, found your own MetaCorp, and get ready to build your empire.

MetaCorps are a brand-new social and financial primitive coming soon to Nifty Island, empowering players to unite, capture value, and amplify their influence across the game world. Nifty has always revolved around on-chain communities. Now players will be able to create their own, capture greater value, and feed into the ecosystem around ISLAND token in the process.

When a MetaCorp is founded, a unique ERC-20 MetaToken is launched with its own ISLAND-based liquidity pool. Other players and traders can purchase that MetaToken to enjoy in-game benefits and prospect on the MetaCorp’s potential success. MetaTokens are traded with ISLAND token, meaning that traders and other participants who want access to the Nifty Island economy must acquire it.

<figure><img src="/files/MPjPZmqo7vMGE9vUNe22" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **So what is a MetaCorp?**

It's a community-driven entity within Nifty Island, leveraging its own ERC-20 token. Players can get involved by founding a MetaCorp or joining one as a *contributor.* They can also become a *member* of any number of different MetaCorps by holding their MetaToken. Contributors are directly aligning themselves with a single MetaCorp's success, while members can expect passive boosts to their gameplay, based on token holdings from multiple MetaCorps. The most active and vocal MetaCorps have the potential to grow in relevance beyond Nifty itself, becoming valuable in their own right as highly active on-chain communities.

<div data-full-width="true"><figure><img src="/files/prVOrw9lkoS3e9z1ihLr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

When a player chooses to align with a MetaCorp and become a contributor, their in-game actions can add value to the token over time. A distinct new form of reward, based on the performance of active islands selected by the MetaCorp, will be used to buy and burn [MetaCorp tokens](/mmeg-the-future-nifty-island-economy/metacorps-building-influence-and-value-together/metatokens). This will reduce its supply, making every remaining token more precious. MetaCorp contributors reap a portion of the trading fees generated by the token.&#x20;

At the beginning we will have the following roles in the MetaCorp ecosystem, working alongside to grow the ever-changing economy around player-driven markets:

#### **Contributors**

They are the driving force behind every successful MetaCorp. After creating a MetaCorp, choosing its name and symbol, as well as inviting fellow contributors to join its ranks, their in-game success will directly fuel the performance of the MetaCorp token. Between island creators, content creators, promoters, and hosts, the MetaCorp can make use of all talents to attract attention to their active islands.

MetaCorp contributors earn based on the trading fees generated by their MetaToken. The more vocal and active the MetaCorp, the more potential volume a MetaToken may do, and the greater the rewards for its Contributors.

<div align="center" data-full-width="false"><figure><img src="/files/bssu6q5u6ReOv9Subl1s" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Players can only be an active contributor of a single MetaCorp, so they have to choose wisely, as the right one will allow them to turn in-game performance into unique monetary rewards. Using the power of their MetaCorp to spread strategic benefits across all of its islands, they will see their influence ripple across the entire Nifty Island ecosystem and beyond.

#### **Traders**

For those seeking opportunity and a way of engaging with Nifty asynchronously, MetaCorps present a unique and dynamic new environment. With the tokens deployed in an open crypto-native market, savvy traders can purchase MetaTokens and trade on the success of various MetaCorps. The deflationary nature of all MetaCorp tokens, their unique tie-in to contributors' performance, as well as the memetic nature of the tokens, allow for outsized rewards for a well-versed trader.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/FcKPiAGYPZRsTF8GJct3" alt=""><figcaption><p>High-level loop of the interaction between creators, MetaCorps, and traders</p></figcaption></figure>

#### **Members**

Everyday adventurers and island explorers also have good reason to engage with MetaCorps. By holding the native token of a MetaCorp, they become *members*, getting access to the MetaCorp's buffs while playing, elevating their in-game power in various game systems. A player can be a *member* in many MetaCorps.&#x20;

#### **Progression**

But that’s just the start. Each MetaCorp features a dynamic progression system tied to bonding ISLAND or accruing enough trading fees on its [MetaToken](/mmeg-the-future-nifty-island-economy/metacorps-building-influence-and-value-together/metatokens). As a MetaCorp levels up, it unlocks increasingly potent perks and can even unlock additional capabilities both in and beyond the game world by funding *divisions.* Divisions are unique extensions that revolve around thematic upgrades like crafting, AI, or other tools.

***

*The most influential MetaCorps will ascend to rule vast oceanic empires, proudly displaying their banners across countless islands. Join a MetaCorp, by purchasing its token, and help shape a vibrant, evolving ecosystem where power, prestige, and opportunity await around every corner.*

# MetaTokens

First glance at the mechanics around tokenization of MetaCorps. Mechanics and values described in here are still subject to change.

MetaCorps are a blend of both worlds that make Nifty Island unique: they are fundamentally social entities which connect to the crypto ecosystem via their native token. MetaCorp tokens are inherently deflationary. After the initial supply is created, the game performance of contributors of the MetaCorp will lead to an ever-diminishing stack of MetaTokens.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/Vtu3oDga385CnVZAxTaI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Token Creation

When a MetaCorp is founded its MetaToken is created alongside and deployed into a one-sided liquidity pool, trading against ISLAND at a starting valuation. After being deployed, the token is fully embedded into the traditional crypto trading experience and will be treated as any other ERC20 token on dApps. Price discovery can start immediately, as savvy traders will be scouring the launchpad for promising new token pairs.&#x20;

### Tokenomics

<figure><img src="/files/DNl2z2NOTcnQ27RYXNE6" alt=""><figcaption><p>Overview of the different game archetypes interacting with the MetaToken</p></figcaption></figure>

For traders, MetaTokens provide a fun opportunity to tap into a dynamic market, influenced by real-time strategic gameplay. As the influence of a MetaCorp grows, boosts and benefits of the MetaToken will grow as well, increasing demand. In combination with the deflationary nature, this makes the token an attractive asset to get exposure to the Nifty ecosystem, for traders that can spot opportunities quickly.

A creator or host can transform in-game achievements into tangible financial outcomes by aligning with a MetaCorp. Driven by in-game activity, the token supply is ever-decreased while the power of the MetaCorp grows, making it more desirable for players. This symbiotic relationship ties a contributor's success directly to the token's health, turning in-game dedication and strategic planning into financial benefits.

For players becoming a member of a MetaCorp, holding their MetaToken translates into meaningful gameplay benefits. From boosts, to special objects, all the way to gameplay enhancing boons, there are many ways a MetaCorp can improve rewards for members.&#x20;

We see MetaTokens as a fusing of social dynamics, creative gameplay, and crypto, resulting in an unparalleled, player-driven economy.&#x20;

# Game Guide

SUMMARY

# Game Economy

Nifty Island's main in-game currency unit is called a "bloom". Blooms are meant to be earned through actions that contribute to the platform's social economy; that is, at the most basic level: playing games with others and hosting players on your island.

Blooms function as a sort of spendable XP in the sense that the total accrued are coupled with financial incentives (during the airdrop period so far) but they can also be spent in various ways.

The following sub-pages detail the sources and sinks of blooms.

# Bloom Sources

Blooms can be earned in the following ways!

## Group Playground Games

***Limit:** 4.5k blooms/day*

This category refers to games played with other players as opposed to solo time trials. Details about the earning formula are given in [Broken mention](broken://pages/HEZbTLK7nCih96PzVyjS).

## Solo Playground Games

***Limit:** 1k blooms/day*

This category refers to single-player time trials. Earnings are based on time spent playing the game.

*<mark style="color:blue;">Rationale: there is currently no way to validate that the games are legitimate, so your leaderboard standing cannot be considered in any meaningful way. It is possible that in the future we could look at number of unique scores on a leaderboard and give it a legitimacy score which determines how many blooms it gives, or some other method of determining legitimacy.</mark>*

## Daily Challenges

***Limit:** varies per day*

Players are given 3 daily challenges per day, earning 500-1500 blooms each. Dailies rotate every day, but they are consistently categorized into 3 slots:

1. Social
2. Exploration
3. Challenge

## Foot Traffic

***Limit:** 9.25k blooms/day*

Foot traffic rewards are earned when players spend time and perform activities on your island. The sources of these earnings and their individual limits are given below:

* **Unique player joins your island:** 5 Blooms (1k/day)
* **Player on your island collects a bloom pickup:** 1 Bloom (1.25k/day)
* **Player spends time on your island:** 0.25 Blooms/min. (3k/day)
* **Player earns blooms from games on your island:** 1 Bloom per 25 base blooms earned (4k/ day)

## B33 Recommendations

***Limit:** 500 blooms/day*

Every 30 minutes, depending on a few conditions, B33 will recommend that you visit another popular island. Players receive 20 Blooms for accepting this recommendation.

## Bloom Pickups

***Limit:** 1k blooms/day*

Island creators can place bloom pickups on their island for visitors to collect. Each pickup is worth 1 bloom. Each player can collect a maximum of 100 blooms per hour.

# Bloom Sinks

Blooms can be spent in the following ways!

## Campfires

Blooms are spent to light campfires and add fuel. At current, this only serves to use campfire functions that require a lit flame (i.e. purchasing upgrades and crafting). You may feed any campfire, including those on islands that are not your own.

## Island Upgrades

Each island that you create can be upgraded at a lit campfire. There are several paths of upgrades which define the size of the island, how many objects you can place, how many games you can have, etc.

## Crafting

At any lit campfire, you can craft items. At current, the only craftable item is a new island which costs 36k blooms.

## Drone Ability Modules

Drone abilities can be purchased for 25k blooms within the B33 customization menu. Before purchase, an ability must first be unlocked by completing its relevant achievement.

These abilities enable new locomotion movements such as using a jetpack, booster, or glider. The equipped ability can be used freely in roam mode on any island, and any purchased ability can be placed as a pickup in games on your island.

## Bloom Rewards

Bloom rewards are seasonal marketplace inventory on the Nifty Island marketplace, found at the top of the page [here](https://www.niftyisland.com/marketplace). They are limited-time open editions which must be unlocked by paying blooms and can then be minted on-chain.

# Playground Game Earnings

This details the factors in earning blooms from playground games.

## Requirements to Earn

In order to earn blooms from any playground game:

* You must not quit the game
* You must pass a minimum threshold of presence in the game
* You must not have hit the daily limit for that type of game (group or solo)

For group playground games, additionally:

* The game must be at least 10 seconds

## Earning Formula

The following factors impact the blooms earned from a game:

* **Ranking:**&#x20;
  * **Free-for-All:** Being higher in the game results mean you will earn more blooms.
  * **Team:** Being on a higher-placing team means you will earn more blooms. For team games, blooms are additionally distributed among players on the team based on their individual performance. Depending on the circumstances, this *may* result in the worst player on the winning team earning less blooms than the best player on the losing team.
* **Number of Participants:** More players means more blooms for everyone, with diminishing returns.
* **Game Length:** The longer the game, the more blooms you earn, with diminishing returns. This is close to linear up to 3 minutes of play, but past 5 minutes it begins to drop off more quickly.

## Daily Multiplier

Each player has a personal multiplier on blooms earned from playground games. This is a continuous sigmoid function fitted to the following benchmarks:

* 0-1000 blooms earned = 8x multiplier
* 2000 blooms earned = 4x multiplier
* 3000 blooms earned = 2x multiplier
* 3000+ blooms earned = asymptotically approaching 1x multiplier

The pre-multiplier points are currently referred to as "base blooms" and are used to rank performance in daily challenges in quests since they are not dependent on a player's personal multiplier.
