# Bloom Sources

## Group Playground Games

***Limit:** 4.5k blooms/day*

This category refers to games played with other players as opposed to solo time trials. Details about the earning formula are given in [Broken mention](broken://pages/HEZbTLK7nCih96PzVyjS).

## Solo Playground Games

***Limit:** 1k blooms/day*

This category refers to single-player time trials. Earnings are based on time spent playing the game.

*Rationale: there is currently no way to validate that the games are legitimate, so your leaderboard standing cannot be considered in any meaningful way. It is possible that in the future we could look at number of unique scores on a leaderboard and give it a legitimacy score which determines how many blooms it gives, or some other method of determining legitimacy.*

## Daily Challenges

***Limit:** varies per day*

Players are given 3 daily challenges per day, earning 500-1500 blooms each. Dailies rotate every day, but they are consistently categorized into 3 slots:

1. Social
2. Exploration
3. Challenge

## Foot Traffic

***Limit:** 9.25k blooms/day*

Foot traffic rewards are earned when players spend time and perform activities on your island. The sources of these earnings and their individual limits are given below:

* **Unique player joins your island:** 5 Blooms (1k/day)
* **Player on your island collects a bloom pickup:** 1 Bloom (1.25k/day)
* **Player spends time on your island:** 0.25 Blooms/min. (3k/day)
* **Player earns blooms from games on your island:** 1 Bloom per 25 base blooms earned (4k/ day)

## B33 Recommendations

***Limit:** 500 blooms/day*

Every 30 minutes, depending on a few conditions, B33 will recommend that you visit another popular island. Players receive 20 Blooms for accepting this recommendation.

## Bloom Pickups

***Limit:** 1k blooms/day*

Island creators can place bloom pickups on their island for visitors to collect. Each pickup is worth 1 bloom. Each player can collect a maximum of 100 blooms per hour.
